Alain Mallart
Alain Mallart began his career at Crédit Vendôme and then went on to the recycling of industrial and mining waste, a business he sold in 1974 to a subsidiary of the Schneider-CL group. In 1977 he became Managing Director of this company and then Chairman; in 1980, he contributed it to the group of the CFF-Compagnie Française des Ferrailles.
In 1983, he created the group Novalliance which was to become one of the leading groups in terrestrial logistics in France (Mory, Stockalliance, Transalliance, etc.) with 1,500,000 m² of warehouses (including 400,000 m² at Garonor). He sold Novalliance in 1995.
At the end of 1994, he founded, together with Jacques Tordjman, the IT company GFI in which he owned 75% of the capital, financing major development. This company, which he left in 1999, now realises sales of € 688 millions.
At the end of the 1990s, Alain Mallart created Externalis and became partner to a number of waste treatment companies in the Indian Ocean including Wasteman , number 2 in waste treatment in South Africa, a company he now chairs.
Alain Mallart has just grouped together his equity interests in recycling, environment and solar energy in the company Energipole .
Françoise Macq
Françoise Macq holds a degree in law. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in London in the Corporate Finance Department.She went on to provide follow-up on European petroleum companies in the Equity Research Department. Returning to Belgium, she was Investment Manager at the Société Régionale d'Investissement de Bruxelles.
Françoise Macq joined the Alain Mallart group in 2002. She is Managing Director of Externalis and is on the Board of Directors of numerous companies in the group.She assists Alain Mallart on a daily basis in structuring transactions and in follow-up on equity interests.
Olivier Meyer
Olivier Meyer (EDHEC, Master’s Degree in “Technology and Management” from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, Master’s Degree in industrial psychology from the University of Buenos Aires) began his career in 1991 at Total. After working in the group Compagnie Générale des Eaux, he joined the group GSI as Quality Director and was then at Tri Eco (Suez Group) as director of the factory for treatment of industrial and hospital waste in Buenos Aires. In 2002, he was general line manager at S.E.N (Groupe Vinci) before becoming Managing Director and member of the board at Wasteman Group in September 2003. He is from may 2010 Director of Dolphin Coast Landfill Management. Olivier Meyer is currently in charge of the international development of Energipole Environment.
Olivier Meyer was also the French champion in the French heavyweight boxing category in 1986 and 1987 and right forward of the French rugby team in 1993 and 1994.
